About Lon Fraser RMT
I am pleased to tell you my background and qualifications that, all together, make a skilled, qualified and professional massage therapist.
I have been a resident of Vernon BC Canada since 1997.
From 1985 - 1994, I worked as a qualified Emergency Medical Assistant (level 1), also known as a paramedic with the BC Ambulance Service (EHS).
I achieved Emergency Medical Assistant Level 2 Trauma and worked with that qualification from 1994 - 1997.
I moved from working as a paramedic and started massage therapy training. I graduated from the Okanagan Valley College Of Massage Therapy as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2001 and have worked ever since as a Registered Massage Therapist in BC.
Since 2001, I have also worked under contract with the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy Ltd. The work performed was teaching assistant for sport massage, therapeutic exercise, joint mobilization and athletic treatment; as well as supervisor for sport massage and outreach curriculums at the college.
I have also been involved with the Vernon Vipers Jr. Hockey League as their massage therapist since 2002.
To provide skilled and professional therapeutic massage is always my goal.
